Registration Guidelines for
“Pope Francis’ Memorial Mass in Nagasaki”

 

All participants are kindly recommended to register for your participation via your parish council. If you cannot, please refer to the website of the Catholic Archdiocese of Nagasaki.

 

■Mass Date: Sunday, November 24, 2019

■Admission Security Inspection

 Place: Nagasaki Municipal Rugby Soccer Field (For security reasons, all people attending will undergo security checks before being admitted to the mass).

 Time: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (Please be sure to have finished all security checks by 1:00 pm)

■Mass Time: 1:30 pm-3:30pm

■Mass Venue: Nagasaki Prefectural Baseball Stadium [common name: Big N Stadium]

1.There are two types of application forms: one for individuals (one person) and one for groups sheet-1 / sheet-2 (two or more participants, tours organized by travel agencies, various groups, monks, families, friends, acquaintances, etc.).

2.Group registrations are processed via the parish council desk. Please submit your registration there.

3.When parish council desk staff send the registration sheets, it should be by fax. Please keep the registration sheets as your copies.

4.Registration will close on September 30, 2019 (They must reach the Secretariat Office no later than this date).

5.If you do not belong to any recognized church, please refer to the website of the Catholic Archdiocese of Nagasaki on how to register.

6.All participants will receive admission passes after registration. Please pick up your admission pass at your parish council desk. Those who registered through the desk of the Catholic Archdiocese of Nagasaki will receive them by postal mail. Please be sure to bring the pass with you to the venue on the day. If you do not have your pass, you cannot enter. As a general rule, the admission passes will not be reissued. Please be careful not to lose it.

7.If you intend to use wheelchairs, please state this in the registration form. We will use the information for your seating placement.

8.If you participate in the Mass as a volunteer (Liturgical Service, Choir, Guide / Guidance / Organization / Relief, etc.), you do not need to register by yourself as the volunteer group leader will do this. Staff ID cards will be issued after registration. If you come to participate as a volunteer after you personally registered, please contact the Executive Committee Secretariat immediately.

9.The admission passes will be sent after October 20th. If you do not receive it by the end of October, please contact us.

10.If you plan to use the parking lot, you will need to submit a registration form for the parking lot users. We will send a parking lot guide map to you after the application. Please note that we will give priority to bus users who are remote participants in Nagasaki Prefecture and those outside the prefecture.

 

★Note: At the entrance, all participants will be checked by a metal detector. The entrance gate will open at 9am. We really appreciate your cooperation. Please arrive and pass security checks as soon as possible as large crowds are expected.
